Men's Conference:
Our annual Men’s Conference is a few weeks away, Friday and Saturday, February 3rd-4th! Our speakers this year will Pastor Zach Vestnys from Calvary Chapel Petaluma and our very own Pastor Nate and Pastor Matt.
With so much confusion in the world around our purpose as men, God is clear in His Word, He wants to use men for His purposes. He invites us to participate in His work during our time here on earth. In this quest to honor God with our lives we must remember that we are not alone. None of us are called to fight this battle on our own. We need each other. We need to hold each other's arms up and fight together.
Men, join us as we spend this weekend together being encouraged through the Word, worship and through our hang out time as brothers. Cost is $25, which covers dessert on Friday, a continental breakfast and lunch on Saturday. Register today on our website.
AGAPE Night:
Last week Pastor Nate mentioned a new monthly gathering that we will be starting in 2023. We are so excited to be launching “Agape Nights” the second Wednesday of every month, starting in February. These monthly Wednesday evening gatherings will be a time for God’s people to be together to fellowship, eat, worship, pray, and to study the Word. Agape Nights will lead our church family further into deeper connection and relationship with the Lord, our church leadership, and one another.
The Grille will be open for dinner 5pm to 6pm, with worship starting at 6:15pm in the Main Sanctuary. Calvary Kids Club will be available and will offer fun activities, snacks, and a bible lesson. Mark your calendars and join us next month for our first Agape night.
Life Groups:
Life Groups are a big deal here at Calvary Monterey. We call them Life Groups because we hope to live the Christian life together with those in our small group of believers. Each week, we get the chance to connect with each other in meaningful ways in sermon-based discussion, prayer, and fellowship. We find support through the joys and the challenges we face in life. We grow in our faith as we commit to meeting together throughout the 13-week quarter. Sharing life with one another like this is one of the best ways to experience a deeper relationship with God. It is our hope to see everyone in our church family belong to a Life Group!
As we get ready for our next Life Group season, starting in February, we need additional leaders and hosts. If you are interested in this opportunity or simply want to learn more about it, please plan to attend one of the New Life Group Leader & Host Interest Meetings on Sunday, January 22nd.
